Commercial reach-in refrigeration is one of the most important pieces of equipment a restaurant, bar, convenience store, or church kitchen will need to buy. It’s important to purchase the reach-in refrigerator or reach-in freezer that best matches the space in your venue. For example, top mount refrigerators are preferred in dusty work areas such as bakeries and pizza shops where there may be flour that settles on the floor. Bottom mount refrigerators are preferred in hot kitchens (above 75°), because heat rises, causing top mounted units to work harder to keep cool.
